A joint committee reported to the Board of Aldermen and the House of Delegates in regards to a lawsuit which the City filed against the Columbia and Puget Sound Railroad Company. The committee recommended that another committee be appointed to carry on negotiations with the railroad company. In addition, the report noted that the Corporation Counsel "acted in good faith...and for the best interest of the City," and that there are no signs of corruption.
