The undersigned, citizens and taxpayers of the City of Seattle respectfully petition your honorable body to erect and maintain electric arc lights at the following places on the streets of this city, to wit

Corner of South Fifth (5) Street and Jackson Street
Corner of South Sixth (6) Street and Jackson Street
Corner of South Fifth (5) Street and Main Street
Corner of South Fourth (4) Street and Washington Street
Corner of South Second (2) Street and Washington Street
Corner of South Third (3) Street and Washington Street
Corner of South Third (3) Street and Main Street
Corner of South Third (3) Street and Jackson Street
Corner of South Fourth (4) Street and Jackson Street

Your petitioners deeming said lights necessary to the comfort and convenience of the citizens of this city. And your petitioners will ever pray etc.
