The Attorney submits anOrdinance entitled "To amend
Section One of Ordinance No 396" Thereupon after due con-
sideration the same is adopted upon the following voet, to wit:
In favor of adoption Collins, Cosper, Clancy, Gasch, McDonald
& Rasin. Against adoption none.
The Attorney submits an Ordinance entitled "To
provide for the sale of certain Real Estate owned by the City
of Seattle and authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute
a conveyance therefor"; thereupon after due consideration the
same is adopted upon the following vote, to wit: In favor of
adoption Collins, Cosper, Clancy, Gasch, McDonald & Rasin. Against adoption none.

And now the Council proceeds to open the bids for certain
repairs to the Engine House on South 3rd Street which bids
are as follows, to wit:

And now in pursuance to the notices duly published the
Council proceeds to the examination and equalization
of the following Assessment Rolls, to wit: For the Improvement
of the Alley through Blocks A, B, C, D & E of Denny's Plat under
Ordinance No 384; for the Improvement of Main Street under
Ordinance No 385; for the Improvement of Columbia Street under
Ordinance No 386; for the Improvement of James Street under
Ordinance No 387; for the Improvement of 8th Street under Ordi-
nance No 388; all filed June 22, 1883. For the
Improvement of cherrym 4th, 5th,6th, 7th, 8th, 9th,10th, 11th, &
12th Streets under Ordinance No 395, all Filed June 22, 1883
& for the Improvement of Pike Street under Ordinance no 400
& filed June 22, 1883. Thereupon the further consideration
