Peter Anderson & Co. for Retail liquors for 3 months from Jan 1, 1884
L. Diller for Retail liquors and 1 Billiard table for 3 months from Jan 16, 1884
R. Howard for Retail liquors for 3 months from Jan 3, 1884
Frank Lessman for Retail liquors for 3 months from Jan 13, 1884
T. B. Timony for Retail liquors for 3 months from Jan 7, 1884
Ordered that the Street Commissioner be & he is hereby instructed to lower
sidewalk on South side of Washington Street fronting Geo. W. Youngs
property.
Ordered that the matter of considering the rights of 2 additional Coun-
cilmen appointed by Act of Legislature to seats as Councilmen
be the same is laid over for special business tomorrow evening
Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned until Thursday Jan-
uary 10, 1883 at 7-1/2 o'clock P. M.

Be it remembered that on this the 10th day of January 1884 the
Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber
pursuant to adjournment.
The following Officers are present, to wit : His Honor the Mayor H. G.
Struve
and Councilman Thomas Clancy, B. F. Day, Geo. W. Harris, Chas
McDonald
, U. M. Rasin and F. W. Wusthoff.
By reason of the inability, by illness of His Honor the Mayor to attend
Councilman U. M. Rasin is appointed president of the Council to serve
during the meeting.
