The Council now proceeds to the Consideration of the Special
order for this meeting, to wit: The opening of Rollin Street and
on motion consideration of the same is continued until
the next regular meeting.
On Motion of Councilman McDonald the committee on Public
Buildings and Grounds is directed to examine into the
matter of erecting a Pest House and report the the council.
On motion of Councilman Hall the City Surveyor is authorized
to procure stone Monuments suitably cut and inscribed and
place at Government Corners within the City limits at a cost
not to exceed $6.00 each.
On motion the Council now [proceeds to elect a policeman
for Belltown, whereupon the following nominations are made
James Burke, A L McCowan, J N E Wolfe, and J Kelley and
James Burke having received the highest number of votes
is declared elected.
