Petition of F H Osgood is now taken from
the table and the ordinance submitted is read
by the city attorney. Moved by Councilman
Calligan that the matter be refered to the
Committee of the whole to examine the proposed
changes; lost Councilman Hall moves the adoption of the
ordinance which is entitled "An ordinance to amend
sections one and five of Ordinance #473, carried by the
folowing vote: in favor of the adoption thereof
Councilmen R H Calligan, J Furth, Geo Hall, W A Harrington,
T W Lake, Chas McDonald, J J Post and G W Young against
none
On motion the Treasurer is authorized to return
assessment roll of Seneca St improvement Ord #401
and Clerk authorized to credit Treasurer with
amount of tax assessed to Territorial University
On motion all matters realting to the police force
of the City are laid over until next meeting
Clerk submits an Ordinance entitled "A special
ordinance appropriating moeny to pay audited bills"
which is adopted by the following vote: in favor thereof
Councilmen R H Calligan, J Furth, Geo Hall, W A Harrington,
T W Lake, Chas McDonald, J J Post and G W Young
Ordered that the council do now adjourn
