COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE
policeman was filed Mch 16 and that on Mch 17 a
notice of garnishment was served on him in suit of
S Kenny vs J Normile, on motion the matter is
referred to the City Attorney with power to act.
Committee Reports received.
From Fire and Water Committee on the matter of a
cistern at Lake Union recommending that a cistern be built
not to exceed 10 ft x 10 ft in size on motion the
reprot is received and placed on file and the Clerk
is authorized and directed to advertise for bids for
the construction of said cistern.
From Finance Committee on petition of T W Sauder
for payment out of road fund of outstanding warrants.
on 5th street fund and issue warrants on the road fund in lieu
thereof on motin that report and recommendation
is adopted and Clerk authorized to proceed in
accordance therewith.
From Sewer Committee recommending that the
owners of Blocks 9 and 10 of Maynards plat be
required to cause said block to be drained
adopted.
From sewer Committee on petition of G H Armstrong
for permission to conduct a laundry recommending
that the petition be granted and the petitioner be
allowed a reasonable time in which to comply with
the provisions of ordianace No 710 on motion the
report is adopted and the petitioner given fifteen
days to comply with said ordinance.
