JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE
Feb 4 1887
The City Surveyor submits the plans and specifications
for a sidewalk along the west side of Front Street
from the Cracker Factory to the North side of Union Street and
the same being submitted to the Street Committee, are
approved and ordered filed.
On motion of Councilman Furth ordered that the
Street Commissioner is instructed to plank a
portion of Mercer Street between Dexter Street
and Box Street and Councilman Hinckley is
appointed a committee of one to designate the
portion to be planked.
The Clerk submits an ordinance entitled "A
Special Ordinance appropriating money to pay
audited bills", which is passed by the following
vote viz: Ayes Furth, Frink, Green, Hinckley, Russell
& Reitze noes none.
Ordered that Council do now adjourn

Be it remembered that on this 18th day of February
A D 1887 the Common Council of the City of Seeattle meets in
its Council Chamber pursuant to law: The following officers
are present viz: His Honor the MAyor W H Shoudy and Council-
men Furth, Frink, Green, Hinckley, Russell and
Reitze. The following proceedings are had to wit:-
