Be it remembered that on the 16th day of Dec A D 1887 the
Common Council of the City of Seattle met pursuant to
law, presetn Acting Mayor Jacob Furth, Councilmen
Frink, Green, Lake, Moran, Russell, Reitze and
Clerk Forrest
Petitions and Communications
Petition of F Hochbrunn for vacating alley in Block
"Q" of Bell's Sixth Addition
read and referred to Street Com.
Petition of W U Tel Co to have certain taxes refunded
read and tabled.
Communication from H L Yesler by Carr and Preston ac-
companied by a deed dedicating a portion of Mill Street
to the city of Seattle for street purposes. Read and referred
to judiciary and Street Committees.
Communication from J R Andrews remonstrating
against the extensioin of Rollin Street read and re-
ferred to Street Committee.
Petition of Preston and Albertson and Everett Smith
for the payment of labores on Madison Street
read and referred to Judiciary Committee.
Petition of P D Hamlin and others for street lights on
Eighth Street from Jackson Street to Dearborn Street thence
to the east side of Twelfth Street Referred to Com-
mottee on Street Lights.
Communicatioin from Seattle Cable Road and Water
Co.
asking that the time for commencing work by
said company be extended to Mar 1st 1888. Granted
