From the Committee on Street lights granting the petition
of H J Stanton and others for street lights on corner of 9th
& Howell 9 & Stewart, 10th & Stewart 10th & Virginia 11th
& Virginia Streets the same to be of sixteen (16) candle power
on wooden posts. Adopted.
From Committee on Streets granting the petition of F. H.
McKowin
and others for planking Temperance Street
from Mercer Street to Roy Street a distance of one block.
Adopted.
From Committee on License & Revenue on petition
of John Forbes for the return of certain license money
to the effect that no rebate can be allowed un-
less both parties join in the request. Adopted.
