An Ordinance is submitted by the City Clerk
entitled "A Special Ordinance appropriating money
to pay audited bills" which is passed by the fol-
lowing vote, viz: In favor of the same Burns, Durie,
Green, Jones, McCombs, McDonald and Reitze. Against the
same none.
Miscellaneous
Ordered that the matter of the Front Street Bulkhead
be referred to the Street Committee and City Surveyor.
Ordered that the Plat of Lynch and Shields Additions to
the City of Seattle
be and the same is approved.
The Street Committee reports that it has two applications
for the position of Inspector of Street Numbering viz:
A B Greenus and A H Dawson on motion the names of
the two applicants are placed in nomination and a ballot
having been taken thereon A B Greenus receives six votes
and A H Dawson one vote where upon the said
A B Greenus is declared duly elected Inspector of
Street Numbering.
Ordered that the Council do now adjourn un-
til Friday September 28th at 7:30 o'clock PM
