From Same Granting petition of W F Dearborn for
change of name of Cedar Street in Bell's 5th Addition
Adopted.
From Same granting petition from City Engineer, recom-
mending that stone monuments be placed at street in-
tersection. Adopted.
From Fire and Water Committee on the Mayor's message,
in regard to the Water supply, recommending that
an election be held on the 19th day of Nov 1888 to decide
if the citizens desired that Bond be issued to the amount
of not more than One Million dollars for the purposes of
bringing by water from Rock Creek. The Com. also submit
estimates by Mr J G Scurry City Engineer showing that
the approximate expense of bringing water from
Rock Creek to distributing reservoir in Seattle will be
$764,980.00 Report Adopted.
From Same Com. Granting petition of A Mailland for permis-
sion to erect porch in rear of Cooperative Store. Adopted.
From Same Com. rejecting petition of Geo N Moore for an
ordinance to license traveling photographers. Adopted.
