44 Journal of the Join Proceedings of the Be it remembered that on this the 2nd day of November A.D. 1891 The Board of [Addresses] and the House of Delegates of the City of Seattle not pursuant to adjournment the chairman Gov. Dr. Hall in the chair. At roll call the following members were pre-sent Delegates Barner - Barton - Cowden - Furry - Hart - Hanford - Jones - Kittinger - Krieg -Lansing - Morford - Shipley - Milli - 13 Alderman Bogardus - Treyruham - KoruWillis - Poutrin - Snyder - Sweeny - Gov. W. Hall - 8 W Bayley - Davie - Waldon and Wilcox being absent.

The following proceedings are had Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved.

The Joint Judiciary Committee of the two houses submit a report recommending that further consideration be deferred on the Stewart Street Roll until an ordinance prepared by the Corporation Council relative to the question of [anergument] Districts is passed by the City Council for the matter of the assessment Roll of Temper -ance Street the Committee reported in favor of the approval of the Roll as submitted. In motion the Report of the Committee was adopted.

Pursuant to a notice published in the City official newspaper calling for bids for a street railway fanchise asked for by the Rainier Power and Railway Company and

by said of City for sale under and by authority of Board of Alderman Concurrent Resolution to 017 and herewith encloses its check- for the (10%) percent of the amount of said bid- pay -able to the order of C.W. Ferris Couptroller of said City." A motion was made that the bid of the Rainier Power and Railway Company be accepted as no other bis were received. The motion was carried by the following vote: In favor Burner - Cowden - Furry Hart - Jones - Kittinger - Kring - Lauring - Morford - Shipley - Willis - Fugraham Korn - Willis - Pontius - Snyder - Sweeney M. Chairman - 18 Against BartonHanford - Boyardus - 3

There being no further business a mothion was made to adjourn. Second and Carried. Approved
