That on the 23rd day of Apr.
A.D. 1892 the Board of Park Commissioners
met pursuant to a call from their
Chairman in their Chambers in the Bailey
Block. At roll callthe following members
were present.
Bailey
Burgess
Barker
Bennett
Evans
Whereupon the following proceedings were had.

To the Hon. Board of Park Commissioners
Gentlemen

I hereby tender my resignation as Supt.
of Parks to take effect as soon as you
appoint my successor. Every individual I
have had to discharge, whether for cause or
from or from the necessity of having to reduce
the force seems to have a personal greivance
against me and I am also aware that I have
incurred the serious displeasure of one of
member of the Board, he having threatened
me both directly and indirectly. Trusting you
will take immediate action on this.

On motion the resignation was accepted to take
effect as soon as his successor was appointed.

A motion to adjourn was carried.
