Aug 2nd Be it Remembered that,
On this the 2nd day of
August, AD 1892, the Board of Park Commissioners
of the City of Seattle, met in regulard session in their
Chambers in the Bailey Block. At Roll Call the
following members were present, towit:
WE Burgess,
B. E. Bennett,
WE Bailey,
CN Evans,
Abram Parker coming in later.
Whereupon the following proceedings were had.
Minutes of previous meeing read and apporved.
Communication from Wm D Wood, in reference
to the advisability of increasing width of Green
Lake Boulevard from 120 to a greater number of feet,
and also the feasibilty of tendering to the City, a small
tract of land on Lake Shore, adjoining Boulebard for Park
purposes, and placing certain portions of Lake frontage
under control of Park Board, also the making of
a topographical survey of shores of Lake Union in connection
with other property embraced in proposed Park
system for the City, read, and on motion duly
seconded, same was referred to Committee on designation
of grounds.
Supply bills for the month of July, in the
sum of $297.10 was, on motion duly seconded
approved.
Pay Roll for the month of July, in the
sum of $1223.95, was on motion duly Park Commissioner of the City of Seattle. 77 WE Burgess, Whereupon the following proceedings were had. Minutes of previous meeing read and apporved.
