The bearer Mr Edward Lea is desirous of obtaining a pass for himself and friend Mr. Nicholson through the Picket lines to their homes in Montgomery County Md. I have known Mr Lea for years and can vouch for him as a man of unflinching Loyalty, and to be implicitly relied on in every way.
