11^th mo 21^st 3^d day
Cloudy all day, raining part of the time, most of the morning
father went to Baltimore, went by Laurel and Ellicotts mill
William took mother to Uncle Samuels in the mornig and
brought me home. Lucy went to Harewood in the afternoon.
Grand mother died at 5 o clock, William Moore
called to tell us.

22^d 4^th day
Cloudy part of the day, and cold: Lucy staid last night
at Harewood: Joe took me to Uncle Samuels early in the
morning and brought mother home. father came home
in the evening, called at Uncle Samuels on his way: William
went to Washington. I am spending the day very differently
from what I did this day last year: 'tis the anniversary of
Debbie's wedding.

23^d 5^th day
Cloudy most of the day, cold, with a shower in the
afternoon. William came home in the morning, to attend
the funeral in the afternoon,at 3 oclock: mother went to
Uncle Samuel;s early in the morning. I staid 'till 3 oclock
father staid at the house.

24^th 6^th day
Clear day: Lucy went to the Cottage to dinner, to Uncle
Samuels awhile in the afternoon, home to supper: father
went to Uncle Samuels after supper, mother still
there.
