Cloudy all day, rained after night: father went
byMechancicsville, and Brookeville up to Brown's
for cattle, William and him there, both home at
2 oclock: Lucy spent the day at the Cottage:
William went to Atholwood after supper took
me as far as Uncle Samuels behind him.

19^th 3^d day
Cloudy all day, rained early in the morning:
William went to Uncle Samuels in the
afternoon fro potatoes, brought me home with
him: I went to Burnside awhile in the morning

20^th 4^th day
Cloudy all day, snowed and rained in the
afternoon, rained fast iin the evening: William
went to town: at meeting.
