Sunday March 4 Clear N.W.
Walked with Thos: Lea to Sharon to make
a call. Returned to Fulford to dinner.
Afternoon Patty Smith & Saml Hopkins
called & took tea: after which I drove Hallie
Lea to a "Bible class at R.J. Bentley's. Richd:
Lea came to my house to spend the night.

Monday March 5 Cloudy 30 degrees S.E.
Threatening to snow. J Gaither came for
me to attend his sister in law (Lizzie Perry)
after a humid breakfast (cooked by myself) I
drove there in time to deliver the placenta.
Thence to John Proctor's & back to office where
I found Caroline Sedgwick & Henson Hill waiting
for me. Frank Leisiore worked at the house
all day. Went to Fulford to see Sister B who is sick.
Thence to Riverside to spend the night.

Tuesday March 6 25 degrees Clear
Came to office bringing Lucy Stabler from
Sally Lea's to Ashton prescribed and put up
medicine for her.

Towards night was sent for to see
Mrs Jno Grimes who was supposed
to be in labor. Returned to Millwood
promising to remain there ready for
a call.

Wednesday March 7
Staid alone at Millwood last
night. Went to Fulford.

Thursday March 8
Jimmy Jackson came & staid all
night with me. I walked to the Store
in time to catch the stage & send for some bread.
E. Bentley came to the house with me.

Asa Stabler had pump left at the
house for me. Went to Fulford.
O. Disney worked 1/4 day at Planting also F.
Leisure at carpentering & Henson Hill at
labor.

Friday March 9 Rain
Staid alone at
Millwood last night.
Heavy storm last night, wind & rain.
Henson Hill came, also F. Leisure the
latter worked 1/2 day, the former all day.
Put in the "cucumber pump." Afternoon
Ernest came & helped me "tinker."
Alped Lincoln came towards night &
got supper and such.
