Friday, April 18th, 1890
Cleared off about sun rise
and was a beautiful morning.
I drove over to Chas. Hammond's
Chas: going with me & going on to
Rodney Boswell's whilst I waited
at Hammond's. Afternoon I rode over
to Rachael Thomas to see Martha Ann
Wright again. Charley drove over to
Branson Cook's to prescribe for his
wife again. "Dick" Johnsons little
boy brought some bottles. Annie
Hill (uncle Henson's wife) was
here to see me. Dora walked over
to Thos: Lea's & home before dusk.
I walked up to the store & P.O.
After supper Charley went to a "dancing
party" at one of the "Stabler boys" near
"Lay Hill" going with Jno: C. Bentley.
After having his own horse hitched
up and driving up to S.S. he returned
and left his horse at home.

Saturday, April 19th, 1890
Much colder this morning,
ice formed in horse bucket etc on
kitchen porch: the wind blowing from
N.W. quite strong makes it feel
much colder than it really is.
Charlotte Rounds called early this
morning and paid me $2.00 on acct:
of bill for professional services.
Mrs: R. Roland Moore Jr: and Miss
Alice Tyson called to enquire after
Bronson Cook's wife. Afternoon Mr:
Crosby & sisters came to Mrs
Robinsons from Balto: Co: & put their horse
in our stable. C drove over to see
Bronson Cook's wife again. I walked
up to S.S: & bought some provisions etc.
