Cloudy after 8.oclk & looks like
snow. Wm W Moore was here to look
at Ernests "Bess" mare with a view to
purchasing her for some parties who
have bought the Thos L Moore place.
Several squads of Sharp: St School
children here for examinations.
After noon I drove over to Riverside
to prescribe for Sister Lizzie, Bro: C
having telephoned to "Sharon" for me
to come & see her. Willie going with
me. Ruth Ann Bowen was here to
see me.

Friday, February 20th

Ground covered with snow early
this morning but it rained enough to
melt it out of sight before 10.oclk:
Charley drove down on the "Manor" to
see some sick & also to Flecher Clark's.
Afternoon Alice & Fanny Peirce came
the latter to remain all night. Alice
went home. I rode down to Ashton
with her expecting to walk home but
came back with Mrs [Waile] P. Miller.
After supper C took Fanny to the
"Olney Lodge." It has been an
extremely chilly raw day . Charley
& Fanny Peirce came home about
10.30 p.m.
