Ther. Saturday, DEC. 29,th 1894. NWWind.

Still colder than yesterday.
Willie & Edwd at home from from the dance
at Grange Hall about mid night last.
I drove over to Riverside this morning.
Willie going with me as far
as "Eldon" where I stopped to get warm
I came home to dinner. Afternoon
I went to Ashton in the sleigh &
go 80 lbs of coal from A. G. Thomas
I also walked up to S.S. for some
coal oil. I wrote to Ernest Iddings
to day too late for the mail.

I went to meeting had a short sermon
from Edwd Farquhar after meeting
Clara Moore fainted, and Caleb
Stabler came over for some whiskey.
I went back to the meeting house to see
if I could do anything for her.
Afternoon I drove over to Riverside
in the sleigh. Edwd with me. Willie brought
Alice Peirce over for me to prescribe for
a swollen face & neuralgia. W took
my sleigh back to Fairfield with team
to put it in order for me. R R Moore Jr
& wife called to leave some things used
by Clara Moore this morning.

Ther. Monday, DEC. 31,st 1894. VariableWind.

I was about home all morning
the fire in our room went out last
night and I made it up this morning.
Afternoon Mrs. Robt Harding
was here & had two teeth extracted.
I was telephoned for from Brighton
to go to see Chas A Howard who
lives on road from Brighton to
Harland's Mill. I drove down
there & home about dusk calling
at Ashton & at the mill as I
came home. The sleighing is
fairly good. I had "Franks" hind
shoes taken off at Ashton.
