Ther. [M:?] 33° Cloudy. Wind. S.E.
Tuesday, Feb. 9,th 1897

No rain today but cloudy & dull
nearly all day. The sun shone out
for a short time once or twice.

I went up to the store & P.O. several
times. Alcinda Hill washed for H.

Afternoon I went to the insurance
office to see Benj D Palmer on school
business. Towards evening, Tom Stabler
came to make us a little visit.

The roads are bad for either driving
or walking, especially the latter.

Ther. 32 Cloudy. Wind. NE

Still cloudy, the sun did not
shine out once during the day.

I was called by telephone early this
morning to go to see Ernest's little boy
"Fred," who had croup, but before I could
get ready to go, they telephoned that he
was so much better that I need not go.
But Ernest would come over & see me
about him. Edwd took Tom Stabler to
Brighton in the buggy. Afternnon Ernest
came & spent an hour or two. I went up to
the store & P.O.
