A good deal of discussion was
brought out by the question of Asa M.
Stabler in regard to the proposed plan
of the board of management of the
Mont Co. Ag . Socie. to relieve itself of debt.
nearly all present thought the plan
proposed of borrowing small sums from
the freinds of the society with out interest
or security , was not a business like way of
accomplishing the end . It was the judgement
of this body that the society had better
sell a portion of its real estate or borrow
money on a properly executed mortgage
