revising the Code of the District, which will
enable the Commissioners to fix up the
present-Hay market lot with sheding etc.
Notwithstanding the snow, which had
been on the earth for nearly eight weeks
had nearly disappeared, we did not find
convenient to get very far from the house.
We however, inspected a Clover lot, apple
Orchard garden barn & barnyard but
neglected to look at the pigs.The clover
lot was found with a set rather above
the average for last year but would be
considered poor some seasons. The apple
trees were in fine condition. Nicely trimmed
and with fine smooth bark the result of
frequent white-washing. The cows were
all fat enough for beef and they certainly
have every facility for chewing the cud of
contentment. In the barn was to be seen
some prime Timothy hay.
Business was then resumed the
minutes of last meeting read and adopted

1st Ques. What was the most profitable crops
of 1880? Ans. 3 say wheat, 6 Potas.,
1 Peaches, 2 hay
2nd Ques. When to sow cloverseed? Ans. Most
would sow as soon as the ground is
