Allan [Farquhar?] asking about the best
season for sowing clover seed is
told to sow clover the first of
April.

J. Janney has clover hay to sell.

N. Stabler asks if anyone has used [borax?]
on meat with success? H.H. Miller
has always been successful with its use.

N. Stabler has 2 feet of water in a well
which had 4 feet of water in it last
summer. He can get enough water
by oumping twice a day. [?] advised
not to deepen it yet but to wait
a while longer.

W.J. Thomaes asks whether to plant
six acres of potatoes considering present
prices? Advised to do so. J.C. Bentley
says it often happens that when
seed are low, the product will sell
to good advantage.

R.R. Moore is told to plow his corn stubble
at anytime now when the ground
is not too wet.

J.M. Hallowell reccoments the sawing
outfit of Pole {Robison's?] to any one
wishing wood sawed at the wood
pile.

Answering H.H. Millers question it
was thought that fall [sour?] Timothy
got a very poor start but that
with seasonable weather a good crop
could be expected
