We always have a
large and interesting meeting
of the Club at Mt
Airy. M. Farquhar, N. Stabler
and L. Lemar Jackson
were unavoidably absent.

The Seventeen guests were
Frederic Stabler, Philip Stabler
Wm W. Moore, Chas. H. Brooke,
W. Thomas, John Thomas,
Alban g. Thomas, Henry R.
Holmes, Mr Thorn, Mr. Fussel,
J.C. Bentley, R. H. Miller, J. W.
Jones, Mr. Crane, R. B. Thomas,
W. J. Thomas and Taylor Thorn.

The flower garden
being close at hand was
the first object of interest.

This garden is unique
in its continuation and
profusion of bloom of old-fashioned
flowers. the vegatable
garden was a model one.
Everything in vigorous condition
and so unusually free from
weeds that it was thought
best to transplant ^ from old asparagus bed several
of the larger kind ^ of weeds to make
things look natural to the rest
of us. The tomatoes vines
were pronounced the best seen
this year; those of the dwarf
Stone variety were especially
commented upon as being so
much like a potatoe vine in
appearance. Back of the
barn we saw a long
