170 Meeting

On the afternoon of 3rd Mo. 22nd 1886
the Members of the "Home Interest" with
some few exceptions, and several guests
met at Mt Airy once again to give
and take of the good sec. hope is derived
from this mingling together.

The Sect we are sorry to say was absent,
and Kate Thomas was requested to fill
the vacancy, not take her place. Minutes
were read, in which we voted one year ago,
a resolution was adopted "that we meet
hereafter in winter at 4 o'clock & 4 1/2 in
summer". Today we met at 5. "A word
to the wise etc." The names of Arthur &
Anna Stabler proposed at last meeting, were
now acted upon, the vote resulting on their
unamimous election as members, the sect
to notify them, and extend a welcome.
The names of Granville & Pattie S. Farguhar
were then offered to be voted upon next time.
The business seemed finished, and it was
thought a walk not profitable, as the flowers
had long before been examined and admired
in the new Green house. B. H.
