Anna Kirk and Fred Thomas were
the Forethought Committee for the evening
and gave many good suggestions for
our consideration. It was decided to
invite Sam and Emma Bond to the
meetings whenever they are here in the
Community.

The Forethought Committee for the
July meeting were appointed,
Stabler and Margaret Fussel.

The paper of the evening was given by
Mr. Hartshorn, who very kindly [?]
John Thomas who was unable to be
present on account of the illness of Edith
Thomas. Mr. Hartshorn subject was
"Poetry", His selections from the Classics
were wisely chosen and rendered beautifully
He also gave some of his original poems,
which showed a life rich in experiences
a realization of the power of God and
a wonderful memory that might
well be the envy of us all.

Questions: -
Emily Coulter - How can I
illiminate the glare from the new
cement walk? - Time will make it
gray or paint it.

Mary Gilpin - will the mexican beetles
live through the winter in Kale? A
good spray was suggested consisting
of 2 qts of water and 1 bar of soap.
Mr. Wetherald - Is it wise to plant
potatoes year after year from the
same seed? - No. Change each
year.
Lucy Moore - How can I use hoops
to support tomatoe plants. Various
Suggestions
