The Poultry report continues rather
meagre. Most members had healthy
chickens, a few complained of young
chickens dying from unknown causes

Mary M. Miller responded with a
good article, "the straw too much"
in favor of greater simplicity in
our style of living. Henry Miller
was absent. Edith Hallowell and
Charles Farquhar appointed for next
meeting.

Our President had paid a
visit in Alexandria and among
the beautiful things he noted was
the garden of Mary G. Boothe who
has frequently been a guest a our
meetings. Everything was in beautiful
order and great taste was displayed
in the arrangement of her plants.
