as quantity. The vines which so often
furnish the food for the squash
bug, were protected, as recommended
at our last meeting, and a
row of the asparagus pea was,
to many an unknown quantity.

Another thing which attracted attention
was an apricot which had
trained against the house and which
was covered with fruit.
