From Mary Williams (colored) a tenant
of A.G. Thomas a fine collection of 19
varieties of vegetables and a dish of flowers.
The Society sent her a vote of
thanks for this fine addition to our
tables, the Secretary read a letter from
Mr. Symons of M.A.C. asking us to send
a Club exhibit to the Maryland week
Expadition. Individuals will send

Plow, sow grass seed, top dress in the
Spring: Another says ashes, ashes and
more ashes: another, lime and ashes

2 When gather pumpkins? The day before
the first frost!

3 Cabbage plants left over in seed bed
are they any good? Might be in
a cold frame

4 Best time to plant Lima beans?
Last of April or 1st of May.
