Fair Hill.
May 7th 1918

We met within the walls of old
Fair Hill on May 7th for the second
meeting of the Horticultural Society.

Right glad were we to meet under
this hospitable roof, as it was the
school.girl home of some of our
mothers and grandmothers, it seemed
as if we might just be going home.

The first Tuesday in May was a
lovely spring day _ a very lively
wind kept things moving all day
long _ but it was mild and spring-
like, and it seemed all the earth
rejoiced in the thought that May
was here to stay __

"The Queen of all the months is May,
When leaves are full on all the trees,
And bracing comes the balmy breeze,
While birds are singing all the day."

Our Pres. called us to order at the
appointed time.
