"School gardens were so successful
during the war and they should be en-
couraged to continue the good work,
because of the almost endless educa-
tional opportunities offered to boys &
girls through supervised garden work.
Gardening under school supervision is
as important in the life and educa-
tion of our boys and girls that a commu-
nity cannot be said to have done
its full duty by its children until
every child has been given a chance
to have a garden & until the subject
of gardening is made a regular part
of the school course".

Katherine Garney? had a volunteer article,
& gave us some valuable reminders for
work to be done in the garden in the
month of May.
