Our hostess Jessie McReynolds said please
look at her crotalaria in the vegetable
garden. It was most beautiful.

For Iris root rot, thin out the Iris,
cut the bad part away and dust with flowers
of sulpher.

Mrs. Stanton can claim exclusive credit
for the glory of her cabbage.

Let sunflowers stay on stalks until a few of
the seeds drop, then cut off and let the seeds
dry out.

In the asparagus bed pull the weeds before
they seed and before mulching.

We adjourned, admired the profusion of
flower bloom, the staked up tomato plants, etc.
and finally the delicious repast.

J.W.
