about 22 lbs to bushel, from 16 acres,)
at 11 a.m - I sick all day
Bob & Robt assisted Wm Lea
thresh 1/2 day at Woodland
5 " 10 Evan Bob & Robt hauling out Manure
6 " 11 Bob Drunk - sent the horses to
Woodland to help thresh.
7 " 12 Mary & I went to Balt to start
Rob to Phila to school with Caleb
S Hallowell got back at 8 PM
having passed thr[ough?] tremendous
rain storm
2 " 14 Benj Johnson comd $1.00 p day going
to town += 60 c p day farm work &
boarded - went to town with
71 Bus oats - Heavy rain in
the afternoon & night - I went to Bank
3 " 15 Bob jobbing I made corn knifes
Ben got back about 6 see fo 215
4 " 14 Ben went to town with 71 Bus oats
& 1 1/8 Gal Lima Beans - Bob the two
little boys & I comd cutting corn, cutting
1/2 the intended width of the rows
5 " 17 Cleaned milk cellar & got 1 Bus meal
at Spencerville pd $1.50 - after din cut
corn - Ben got back about 6 PM
