sight of Town, T Leach went into it to look for letters and we went
alone, to Aaron Hibberds, where we arriv'd about dusk, and
found our letters were in his hands waiting a week for us. Truly
glad and thankful we were to hear from our dear families and
friends; and very particularly so to hear that my dear Caleb
was safely reposing in the bosom of his family and friends, a mercy
which I desire never to forget. We had a comfortable night, at
A Hibberds. In the morning of the 22 a thunder storm cool'd the air, and
was at meeting at Middle Creek, where James Mendenall livd and
died, had a good meeting, the word I trust was divided right, then
came on with some friends of the name of Lee, 2 batchelors
and 3 single sisters, none of them young, met with clean good entertainment,
after dinner came 6 miles more to Thomas Rights to lodge, accompanied
by Anthony Lee. _ on the 23d of the Mo, Thomas Right, son of
the late Johnathan Right conducted us to his Fatherinlaws Isaac & Sarah
Browns, comfortable habitation, here we are resting having given notice
that we are disposed to meet the members of the Ridge meeting tomorrow
at 11 oclock. the 3d of the week, we call'd in our way here this morning to see
our Ancient friends in their own house, Abraham and Sarah Bransen
