It was moved & carried that both of these gentlemen be
elected to the office of as directors in the R. G. R. Association
and they were to be so notified.

The President appointed Mr. Follette, Mr. De Forest and
Mr. Grantham as a committee to solicit signitures
of protest from the property owners within a radius
of 100 ft. of the property owned by Mr. Metz on [Grand?]
Avenue, who has through his [servant] Chas, Varien
sought to obtain a license to sell beer &etc, and thus
violate and break the contract and conditions under which the property
was obtained.

Mr. De Forest was a committee of due to wait
upon Mr. Metz and explain to him his [condition?]
in connection with the above.

[C.] Mr. Chas S. Olmstead made a statement that Mr. Moore
of the Del Monte Company had informed him, that the
company would stand by their agreement with
the Retreat Association in demanding the rights
of the Covenant & conditions of the deeds to property
issued by that Company.

It was moved that we pass a motion of Condolence
on the death of the Rev. J.H.N. Williams and send
a copy to the bereaved wife and family.

The minutes of the last meeting read and approved.

There being no other business the meeting adjourned
to meet at the call of the President.
