You should know that
when our Lord God
made the world and when he created
everything out of nothing
he had no need to do so. For
he had as much
before as he had afterwards.
Certainly God was before all and
will be eternally without
end and without beginning.
Therefore He changed nothing
of that. For nothing is lacking to him.
He sees all, hears all, knows all,
and holds all things in His hand. He has never hungered or thirsted,
nor had time nor days nor hours. Rather, He lives continually
in all good things. Because for Him there is neither early nor late.
And all those things which have ever been, which are, or which
will be, they have always been and will always be in front of His eyes,
things both far away and near, both bad
and good. He saw the world just as well when
