look at the situation
of the moon and
how it receives light
in such a way that
it is continually
half full, in whatever
place it might be.
When we see it as
round, then we call
it full. But the further
it is from the sun,
the more one can see of its appearance. And when it is
right below it [the sun], then it does not appear at all.
For at that point it is between the earth and the sun,
such that it shines
