Charles Norton Felton Jr. (1869-1920) was the son of Charles Norton Felton (1832-1914), U.S. Congressman and Senator from California, and Charlotte A. (Ashley) Felton (1831-1875). The family estate in Menlo Park was known as Felton Gables which is the present-day neighborhood name for the area where the estate was. Charles Jr. married Cora Smedberg (1874-1941) in 1914 and the couple lived in San Francisco. A donation of $100,000 was made to Stanford University in Charles Jr.'s name in 1920, the year he died.
