But to me death has no longer a sting. I feel it is only for a time we are separated, that our loved ones have passed into a better world, just as we here would pass into another room. We miss them and long for the, but when we think how happy they are in the arms of our dear Savior, it would be selfish to wish them back. But a few short days and we will join them. May our dear Savior's arms { ?} and sustain you is the prayer of your sincere mourning friend.

Dear Mrs Stanford

We have just received the news of your great loss. My woman's heart goes out to you in a great stream of sympathy. I can feel for you most profoundly. I know I can say nothing to comfort you only the good God can do that. I have suffered so much in the loss of my dear child Annie that I can feel for you so much more deeply.
