Our trade is very dull and my good hard working
husband is very much worried how he will pay his
debts which will fall due soon, the love for my
husband and child promts [prompts] me to beg of you to lone [loan]
my husband $1500.00 ore less to pay you back in
small payments, you would have our life longe
gratitude, and prayers, this would be your most charitable
acts to a good woman, this letter cost me a great deal of
pain to write you this, with out my husband knowing it,
but it breaks my heart to see my husband go around so
worried, I know I ask to much but if you would no
how worthy we are you would shurly help us through,
trusting to receive a faverable answer I remain yours
