Dear Madam:-

Referring to Six hundred Shares (represented by
Certificate No. 52 issued 27 April 1885) of the Capital Stock in the
Central Land Company of West Virgina formerly standing in the name
of I. E. Gates, I have to say that said I.E. Gates has filed with
me, as Receiver, a transfer to you of one fourth part of said shares
of the Captial Stock in the said Central Land Company of West Vir-
ginia, and of all rights represented thereby, and of all rights and
interest of said I.E. Gates as the holder of said stock, and in
respect to any dividends thereon or distributions of the assets of
said Land Company.
