My dear Mrs Stanford
I am sorry that I have not had the pleasure of seeing you again in the city before we start east. We leave this evening for Denver and New York.
I only wish to tell

you again how very much we enjoyed our visit with you and Senator Stanford. Every moment was full of interest to us - and will be a most pleasant remembrance to me for many years to come. We had a nice letter from Mrs Grant in which
she sends a "great deal of love to Mrs Stanford".
