I did not, when I saw you last, expect that you would get away without my getting to see you but I have been sick & unable to go out. I am so sorry to learn that you have bad news from your sister. I only hope she may be better by the time you reach her. I am sorry I missed you yesterday I was unavoidably detained or I would probably been in when you called. I send you a few flowers
