with me as it does with you. And
from time to time I will read the
book & send you my thought about
it & so at last you will be reading
it with me perhaps.

Meantime I send you two
pictures of my daughter - one
taken a few weeks before she
became the mother of twins - (a
boy & girl) & the other when the
girl was about eleven years old &
the boy had been in heaven since
he was six months old & the father
had been a confirmed inebriate for

the long years. If you can read the
saintly face of our darling as we do
you will appreciate the letters which
I send you to read in their order,
that through
clasping hands in our grief we may
be able with our eyes to behold the
invisible & rejoice with joy unspeak-
able & full of glory.

I go to New York on Thursday
& Friday to begin the "Conversations"
which were planned for me in Boston
but were interrupted by the fatal
hemorrhage that was the beginning
of the end.
