Mr. John F. Lewis Vina Ranch

Dear Sir, Mr. [? still], in charge of the distillery at Vina, has been given leave of absence from July 1 to September 1. During that period of time I wish you to take charge of the distillery, warehouse and the brandy department generally. The distillery will be shut down and all employees laid off except three men in the warehourse and a chinaman, Ah Sing, to take care of the stills and brandy tanks; they will report to you.
