Chap IV. Continued Page 70, Small Pectoral not well defined and not pointed out [in?] plate. Page 72-3, External and internal flexors not pointed out in plates III, XI. Page 73-4, The Flexor Brachialis and the [Idumeralis?] Externus are not sufficiently explained for comprehension, nor pointed out in plate. Page 75 line 22, After "one" insert portion of knee joint? Page 75 line 32, After "cannonbone", insert in the hind leg Page 77 line 35, The "Extensors" mentioned here cannot be those which have been described before but the extensors of the carpus and foot, [which insert?] Page 78 line 12, For "it" read, the scapula - It is [uncertain?] [now?] whether bone or muscle is meant. Page 81, Fig.1. The lines at the base of this figure are inaccurate. Otherwise the horse is only 14 hands high insteadof sixteen Plate XIV. It is impossible in these silhoutte plates to tell which is the off and which the near leg, a difficulty which could be remedied by simply drawing one or two little white lines, It is a grave defect in studying them.
