from the main line of the Southern Pacific. I write to him on the subject by this mail. I am sure he will be willing to do whatever he can to assist. I also write to our [General?] Manager, Mr. Towne, in regard to placing your track. I do not know that this can very well be done, but we shall try to accommodate you.
I hope you will not forget to designate somebody to preach on occassions at the University. I would especially like to have toleration, forebearance, brotherly love and Christian charity illustrated.
